An absolutely amazing location and a paradise island in the sun

The island is absolutely beautiful with great food and a lovely chilled out vibe.

The water was choppier than we expected making snorkelling and paddleboarding harder than expected. This isn’t the resorts fault but something that surprised us.

Best honeymoon we can ever imagine. Worth every penny.

Very beautiful and very clean property. Not a single dirt in the beach or in the water. We had sunset overwater villa, it has the best view we can ever imagine. The water colour is unreal and the beach is awesome. We like that even with full capacity the property is not crowded. It was very relaxing. And many existing activities.

We had all inclusive meal plan, so the food is like normal 5 star hotel menu not very exiting. They never serve any prawn or lobster dish.

Amazing beautiful island with great facilities & service

Very beautiful island, with amazing turquoise waters & clean white sand, as well as beautiful jungle to walk through on the way to restaurant & bar. Our pool water villa was very beautiful & comfortable, with everything you would need for a perfect stay. The staff was attentive & nice, the food was variable & delicious, there were a lot of activities to choose from, like snorkeling, sunset fishing trip, kayak, to name a few included in the all inclusive package. We spent whole trip barefoot, there is sand everywhere, even at reception, restaurant & bars, it was amazing to take a walk in the jungle on a sandy path. The sand is not hot due to the sun & very pleasant to walk at. We were impressed with the beauty of this island, as this was our first trip to Maldives & it outperformed all our expectations! The hotel organized several surprises on my birthday, which totally made my day, thank you very much to all that made our trip unforgettable!

The only things to mention is a very slow wifi, which we later upgraded for extra charge & unfortunately kids club’s personnel was on sick leave, so we could not fully enjoy the benefit of leaving kids for a bit & relax on our own.

Wonderful vacation

We really enjoyed our stay at Dhigufaru Island resort, everything was very well organised, the transfer was seamless both ways. The resort is beautiful, accomadition is comfortable and clean, the staff is helpful and eager to make your holiday special, the food is awesome in both of quality and variety. We can definitely recommend this resort.

The only concern is sunbed matresses, they need to be either replaced more often or made of another material, i suggest management check them out regularly. Its not a major issue, but rather something which can defenitely be improved.

Well worth the price and long journey

The resort is on a small island but vast so it was great to have the wassap number for our host on arrival. She was very helpful, obliging and did an amazing job in getting us timely help when we needed it. She even orchestrated the return of my wedding ring i forgot at another island 100miles away!! Thank you Mal!!! Great to have a private pool but also a larger main pool for laps. Reef was shallow and had plenty of fish to see at our pleasure. Food was exceptional and really enjoyed the non Indian food options.

Half board did not include drinks which was not mentioned anywhere until arrival so disappointed with that as buying drink from the resort is very expensive.

You could easily enjoy a very nice, safe, clean and comfort place. The staff are very kind and helpful. the welcome was awesome. very clean and we had not see any mosquitoes. everything in the villa was new and nice. we really enjoyed our semi water villa and outside environment and activities too. they mad a good ceremony for my wife's birthday, we had a really delicious lobster, and they bring a nice birthday cake and local music group start to sing an dance in front of the restaurant, all the resort gusts enjoyed the music and dance in a romantic designed temporary scene that they mad near the beach for that night.

The quality of the staff at Dhigufaru is outstanding. We were especially impressed by Ed (barkeeper), Val (helping at the bar), the whole watersports team and Joanna (waiter in restaurant). All people are helpful, friendly and skilled. The whole hotel and all rooms are new and in a very good state. I would recommend the rooms on the Boaku side or the semi-water villas on the Aanu side. The Veli side is relatively more busy but also good. The bathrooms are partially outside and very nice. The beach is nice and you have amazing views. Travel by sea plane from Male airport was well organised!

The staff at Dhigufaru are amazing - thoughtful, kind, welcoming, professional - they really aim to help the guests to have a perfect vacation. The setting of the resort is wonderful, it is just the right size, intimate, you can walk over the entire island in less than half an hour and the views are out of this world. The rooms are large, very clean (rooms are serviced two times per day) and beatiful. We stayed at one of the semi-water villas that give maximum privacy and the sounds of the waves are amazing. Food at the restaurant is very good and varied, with excellent and quick service.

1. Very friendly, attentive, and cooperative staff. Staff were taking care of us since we landed in Male airport, during transit, and all the way until we left the island. 2. Clean and swimming friendly beach, especially for kids. 3. Quiet and distant island that makes you feel peaceful and isolated from everything else. 4. Private and direct access to the beach. 5. What was the highlight of Dhigufaru Island Resort

My 2 kids (6 & 10) really enjoyed the evening fishing trip (part of the all-inclusive package), and wished the trip could be slightly longer by having an extra hour of daylight. The staff on the fishing really had the kids’ safety in mind by constantly being by their side. Thank you. The view from our Semi-Water Villa was breath taking - the open sky and the crystal clear water over the white sand teaming with fish - and would put one completely in tune with nature. The feeding of the fish directly from our room’s patio was quite something (maybe this explained why the bread/rolls in the buffet was one of the hottest items for the kids and adults alike).
